The United Nations, in partnership with the government and people of Ghana, has developed a Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2023-2025) to support Ghana in achieving its Sustainable Development Goals. The framework will use an integrated approach to promote Ghana’s development by addressing critical issues such as access to finance, economic growth, the climate crisis, digital transformation, urbanization, peace and security, and innovation. The UN will focus its efforts, resources, and partnerships on inclusive and sustainable economic growth and transformation, accessible and sustainable social services, and durable peace and security. The framework aims to leave no one behind and uphold the fundamental rights of all, while fostering transparency, accountability, and good governance. This framework marked the UN’s 77th anniversary and emphasized the strong collaboration between Ghana and the UN.
